Sunita Williams was sent to International Space Station (ISS)  along with American Astronaut Butch Wilmore for one-week mission.

The ISS is a big space station put together and looked after by five space agencies US, Russia, Japan, Europe, and Canada, in low Earth orbit approx 400 KM from earth.

On June 5, 2024, Sunita Williams boarded the Boeing Starliner. The Spacecraft launched from Florida Space Station at 10:52 AM

The spacecraft was initially due for a one-week mission. But, the Starliner experienced helium leaks from its service module, forcing it to remain docked at the International Space Station (ISS)

Delays in the spacecraft's return sparked safety concerns for its crew. NASA recently reassured everyone with good news at a conference: the Boeing Starliner is in good condition and can remain in orbit longer than planned

NASA announced that the astronauts are safe and in no rush to return. The duo is having a pleasant stay abroad the space station. Boeing Starliner's mission can delay from 45 days to 90 days.
